Global reinsurer Swiss Re has announced the appointment of Marilyn Blattner-Hoyle as Head of Public Sector Solutions, effective April 1, 2025, succeeding Veronica Scotti.
Scotti will leave Swiss Re after over 25 years of service, having held several leadership roles across the Group, including Managing Director, President & CEO for Canada and the English Caribbean, and most recently as Chairperson of Public Sector Solutions since 2018.
Blattner-Hoyle joined Swiss Re in 2021 as Global Head of Trade Finance, Trade Credit & Working Capital Solutions.
Before that, she spent over five years at AIG, where she served as Managing Director and Global Head of Trade Finance.
She also served as an International Banking and Finance Associate at Hogan Lovells.
Swiss Re stated, “We thank Veronica for her tremendous contribution to Swiss Re and wish Marilyn all the best of success as she begins the transition into her new position.”
